New Year, New Arts?
The time I have to dedicate to art, or creation rather, diwndles more and more as I get older and my responsibilities multiply. Ah, the joys of the day job. So I'm looking to spend my time trying something new in the pieces I work on. I'm looking for new subject matter, new mediums, new styles, etc. Basically anything short of marble sculpture.
Any suggestions?
See you in 2013.
So how about that resolution?
Just figured I'd make it official - one of my new year's resolutions was to take it easy, not pass judgement, and try not to be such a sarcastic jerk all the time. I'm happy to say that nearly 10 months into the year and my resolution, I stopped trying at 2 months. I'm sorry, I can't help being me, and while people believe that mother earth's ability to sustain the the earth is in decline, it's ability to produce assholes is the highest in recorded history. Again, I'm sorry, but some people just need to be punched in the dick! Jesus fking christ! If only I could invent a time machine and go back in time and cock block certain people's parents

My art developed, or so I like to think, my ideas evolved, and my identity as an artists came about way later. But what to do about my followers, favs, comments and friends?!?!?!? I stuck it out - and the wait is over - DA finally came out with an option that appeals to long time DAers that weren't sure what their names were when they signed up. Good stuff. Cheers to the DA staff for once - this is way better than some "bottle art" competiti

For me it's the opposite situation but same end result....school has me so tapped out that I don't really want to do anything but relax and sleep...I don't have the energy to do anything I really want to.
